Capichera 2018

The company’s iconic wine, produced for the first time in 1980. It arose from the intuition of being able to use Vermentino grapes, those closest to Capichera’s heart, to obtain a wine that could hold its own against the great international whites. The best bunches of these grapes, grown on their land of choice, are transformed into a unique and distinctive wine, elegant and with a strong personality. The name Capichera, from the Latin ‘caput erat’ (‘it was the capital’), is the ancient name of the family estate.
