CAPICHERA AND VERMENTINO: A SARDINIAN STORY, 40 YEARS LONG AND FULL OF PASSION.

At the end of the 1970s, ahead of its time, Capichera realised the great potential of Vermentino and succeeded in obtaining its maximum expression by vinifying it in purity. In the early 1980s, with the certainty that the Vermentino obtained from the family's vineyards in Gallura was already a white wine with an exclusive character, Capichera decided to proceed along a path focused entirely on the quality and enhancement of this grape variety. Having established new models of quality, both in the care of the vineyards and the cellar, the Ragnedda family has dedicated resources and energy to obtaining wines that still today stand out for their identity and uniqueness, able to compete with the great international whites. Capichera has been responsible for the rebirth and oenological revaluation of Vermentino, first in Sardinia and then internationally.
